For Sale

The Ministry of Defense has a problem, how to depose of ten miles of tunnels in Corsham.

Now the once secret base is no longer required and has been put up for sale.

Bob Constantine explores the bunker and it's facilities which would have served a community of 4,000 inhabitants in the event of a nuclear attack on Britain.

Needs to turned into a tourist attraction just like the German Tunnels in Jersey.

Part of this complex should be turned into a free to use indoor skate park. It already has some amazing looking terrain in the ventilation tunnels. All the precipitation here in the UK makes more indoor facilities a must. This place looks ideal.

I would remodel and sale apartments or condos to people that want to be ready for in case the worst was to happen. The worst whether it be nuclear or natural disasters. Condo or apartment housing. If you decide to sale parts let me know ill think of investing.

Why not sell it off to a developer for accomodation, use it as a museum or sell it for private scientific use? It's a shame they didn't keep up the maintenance on it. Perhaps they have another back up plan...?

A museum would be a great idea - along the lines of the Cabinet War Rooms in London.

You would need to win the Euro lottery to be able to afford the £5 Million the MOD wants, and £10 million to clean and tidy all the dangerous stuff up.. Asbestos, radioactive material, mould spores, germ warefare tests...
