Corsham's Secrets Revealed
A segment from TV-am's breakfast television news from 1984 about the introduction of a Freedom of Information Bill which could lead to the uncovering of Britain's underground secrets.
The bill was drafted by the Campaign for Freedom of Information and introduced to parliament by Liberal Party leader, David Steel MP.
At the time very little was known about the bunkers beneath Corsham and despite the FOIA's introduction, it was still more than another decade until details of the bunker were released to the public.
